Women in rural communities
Women in rural communities who gather and process shea, often as the main earner in a household with no other reliable income.

Young people leaving school without a trade, who need a skill and a first employer willing to take them on.

Persons with disabilities, who are routinely screened out of work that they are perfectly able to do.
Persons affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases
People affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases, who face stigma from employers and neighbours long after treatment has finished.
Partnerships
Anesvad and Social Enterprise Ghana
Through partnerships with organizations such as Anesvad and Social Enterprise Ghana, we strengthen skills, improve quality standards, and expand market reach.
Anesvad works on Neglected Tropical Diseases, which is the health side of what we do commercially. Social Enterprise Ghana connects us to the wider network of businesses here using trade rather than charity to shift outcomes. Both make us better at the parts of this we cannot do alone.
What we do
Training, production, and market access
Shea butter processing training, income generation, Afrocentric craft production, culinary and shea processing experiences, and market access support.
Training comes first, because quality is what makes the rest possible. From there the work splits into production, craft, and the visitor experiences we run, and every strand ends in the same place: a product someone will pay a fair price for.
